Recently, I had the privilege of joining 30 incredible high school students and 9 fellow leaders from our church’s student ministry on a mission trip to Jamaica.
Our time was filled with evangelism, assisting with renovations, running a daily sports and crafts camp for the local community, and sharing our personal testimonies of faith. While each day brought its challenges, the strength, gratitude, and grit of the Jamaican people inspired us to rise above every obstacle.
Sharing this experience with my 17-year-old son, Christien, made it all the more meaningful. We returned home forever changed, humbled by the opportunity to serve and deeply grateful for the connections we made.
